1560/62 SCANNER LED INDICATOR
The triple-colour LED on top of the scanner is used to provide user feedback. For example,
the LED becomes solid red and goes off quickly when powering on or running out of transmit
buffer. The difference between the above two examples can be determined by the beeps a
long beep of high tone indicates powering on and a long beep of low tone indicates the
transmit buffer has become full.
SCANNER LED INDICATOR MEANING
Red flashing. Charging (On/Off ratio 0.5s: 0.5s).
Red solid Charging error.
Red On-Off
Power on, with one long beep (high tone, LED on
for 1 second).
Data saved to buffer when transmit buffer is
enabled and the scanner is out of range, with two
shot beeps (High-Low tone).
Transmit buffer full, with one long beep (Low
tone).
Transmit buffer disabled, with one long beep (Low
tone).
Memory full in memory mode, with two short
beeps (High-Low tone).
Green On-Off Good read, with one short beep (High tone) and
beeper pitch and duration programmable.
Flashing blue First, flashing blue (On/Off ratio 0.5s: 0.5s) for two
minutes indicates the scanner is waiting connection,
and goes off if no connection is established, then
flashing red (On/Off ratio 0.3s: 2.5s) indicates the
scanner is active.
Ii is ready for connection only while the LED is flashing
blue --
SPP: waiting host to connect.
HID: trying to connect to host.
Using 3656: trying to connect to 3656.
Flashing red Flashing red (On/Off ratio 0.3s: 2.5s) indicated the
scanner is inactive and its CPU running at low speed
to save power—
No WPAN connection is established after waiting
for two minutes.
Flashing blue Flashing blue (On/Off ratio 0.1s: 0.1s) indicates the
scanner receives a PIN code request from host
(flashing more quickly than waiting connection).
Flashing blue Flashing blue (On/Off ratio 0.02s: 3.0s) indicates the
scanner has established a WPAN connection
successfully.
Flashing blue and green. Flashing blue and green On/Off ratio 0.1s: 0.1s)
indicates an error occurs while entering in the PIN
code. Press the trigger to get ready for re-connecting.
Flashing red Configuration mode (On/Off ratio 0.5s: 0.5s).
